How a Check for $7.38 Completely Change My Life...

When I began marketing online in 1999, our dial-up Internet speed was so slow I could eat a snack, get a drink, and let the dog out while my two or three emails downloaded. I was fascinated with the possibility of making money online and was determined to do whatever I could to learn more.
I experimented with Internet marketing while holding regular jobs over the next few years. There were some small signs of potential which encouraged me to keep going, but overall the results were bleak and I began to lose hope. Then that all changed when in 2001 when I received a check for $7.38 in my mail box. That small check forever changed the way I thought about marketing online. If not for that check I would probably not have achieved the success I have.
On that fateful day when I went to my mailbox there was a check from ClickBank. At the time I couldn’t remember what ClickBank even was, but after some investigation I recalled that two years earlier I had promoted a product through ClickBank. I had placed a few free classified ads which were popular at the time but nothing came of it, until I received that check in my mailbox.
Two years after initially promoting that ClickBank product I received a check for $7.38. I know you’re probably thinking $7.38 is hardly anything to get excited about, but I thought differently. You see, the amount was irrelevant. What amazed me was how I earned that money.
Receiving that check was the first time in my life I earned any kind of residual or passive income. I could hardly believe I made money for something I did so long ago. The ad I forgot all about just sat on the Internet for over two years. I then imagined all the possibilities of what would happen if I applied myself. “What would happen if instead of just a free classified ad somewhere I had several websites promoting products? How much would those sites earn over the next two years?” I realized that earning residual income online was possible, and that $7.38 check validated my belief. My passion and motivation was completely renewed and I dedicated myself to Internet marketing.
Since then I have made millions of dollars in online sales. In fact, just two years after receiving that $7.38 check I was receiving checks every two weeks in excess of $10,000 from ClickBank. Below is a copy of an actual check I received back in 2003.
Although the work wasn’t always easy, over the years I succeeded. I developed several original methods and tactics I use to this day, and I began to help others achieve their own Internet marketing goals. Helping others reach online success has become a true passion for me.
